Love... What a beautiful word. And an even more beautiful emotion. Love makes the world go round. Love makes the stars shine. Love makes life worth living..... And my blog is full of cliches :-)
A lot of people make the mistake of thinking you get to choose who you love. But it is not so. Love is not premeditated. Not planned. Love just happens. When you least expect it. There are no defined parameters. There is no right or wrong. There is only love.
We spend all our lives looking for someone to love, for someone who loves us not only for what we are but in spite of what we are. Where do we look??? Do we always find love in those places??? Or does some unexpected door open and in walks your beloved.....
I thought a lot about whom I would find, when, where & how??? Well really really a lot considering the amount of time I have spent waiting to find someone, looking for someone. I was not too fussy. Not too hoity-toity. But never found anyone.... Till....
He says I think too much. That is genetic. I say, you gotta see my father think. Then you will know what too much is. But I did not think so much about you, did I? He also finds it strange how no guy liked me for so long. He says they are nuts. I say he is crazy.
Its an end to the daily drugedy of life & existence. There is so much more meaning to all you do. To getting free from work early, to having a duty, to eating dinner..... Yeah, Yeah. I know sounds dumb. But take it from me. It all matters a lot when you have someone special to be with.
My perspective towards so much has changed. Towards life, career, goals set and achieved. My stress levels are so low. My contentment so much more. My disappointments so fewer. I am at peace.
Well he does bug me at times, like when he spends the whole day playing a game. (Men!!) And he is so endearing when he lets his tongue slip and says when I used to be a bachelor :-) Well I get served coffee & food. Lets see how long that lasts. (Am not protesting. Enjoy when you can). It must be the first time I declined to go to a movie with my friends. They sure must be wondering why.
Things are changing. And I like that.
